Wow! There are really not enough hours in the day especially if you are like myself often skimping on sleep to get more done. However sleep happens to be a key factor in ensuring that not only do we perform our best but also look our best! Restful nights are often associated with looking and feeling healthier. Ideally we should aim to get about 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night in order to look our sparkling best. Beauty sleep is an integral part of any routine and here’s why:

Brain Boost – Well we all tend to think that burning the midnight oil the night before the meeting or presentation is the way to go! Unfortunately and I say this time and time again to my boys that the extra sleep will be far more effective at keeping you sharp and helping you retain information. Just an extra even hour of rest will speed brain activity and response time which will leave you feeling more prepared and engaged.
